Candy Time

Christmas allways is a time of eating more than you are used to. We eat candies, turkey or just nice things you like. To me, personally I allow myself chocolate truffles with champaign or just truffles on a milk chocolate base. So , because I really must loose some weight, I made some Candies and chocolate truffle soap with raspberries. Not feeling guilty ........ now....
Have an wonderfull happy and blessed holidays. This little poem is for you all!

"Keep whispering your heart dreams, because you never know when,
Your angel is listening "

Eatible, adorable and sellable. You can describe it as : nuts, cream caramel, butter, and hints of honey en slightly roasted peanuts. Real Cold Process made this time.

Autum Leaves

This is the time of the falling leaves... and nature changing into such refined colours.
Time to put on some candles in the homes and thinking about warm apple pie with custard. Thinking about new things, going with the flow...

Donorsoap: Stéphanie ( Olympic Games)

There was a customer who ordered in my shop. She gave her website adress so I had a look at it. It appeared she had been given a new lung thrue transplantation. Again I felt so lucky , I only have astma and COPD lung problems, but I am much older. So I decided to send her this order freely and we both invented a sponsor soap to realize her plans to go to Australia as a topsport woman! The soap is nicely perfumed with fresh linnen and fragrant cream!Coloured by natural rose clay.
The Donorsoap is in the shop at this moment. So, Stéphanie, I hope we will sell them in a large scale. Stéphanie: YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!

Strawberry Mango cupcakes

Cupcakes are very popular, so yesterday spring made me long for strawberries and mango. The smell is heavenly they fizz in the bathtub, not so overwhelmingly, but nicely and gentle.

Bath cupcakes

Today our order arrived , so I was able to make some trial cupcakes. In a way I succeeded; they have a nice colour, lovely flavours and nice constistency.
Unfortanetely, the topping did not succeed nicely. Next time I will make the icing thicker, so that the toppings are looking more "ICED". They have the fragrances : Pear combined with blackberries.

Raspearry Fizzies!

Dear followers, and other dear people, Yesterday there was some kind of spring in the air. Not so overwhelming, but anyway nice and we must be gratefull every day brings us.So I longed for flavours as raspberry and pears, melons. This is what turned out : Raspearry Fizzies. You put them in your tube, or if you don't have one, can use it as footbath as well. They fizz all over and you smell the lovely fruits! They are coloured with natural green and rose clay. The topping is the raspberry.

Hyacinth

My mother , she is 75, loves this woman. She is amazing, in her role as "Hyacinth". This soap was inspired by her and smells lovely with hyacinths notes and some lovely Stephanotis ( which is a bridal flower).
It became a classical soap with some grace i think. Lots of sheabutter and coconut oil.Coloured with natural annato powder and ci 7007 ( ultramarin Violet)

Buttermilk soap in the mall

Today it felt like spring in a way. There was some sunshine but still some cold.

Liked to make a buttermilk soap. It is made with biological fresh buttermilk which was pasteurized :)

The soap is uncoulored, and I made a blend of essential oils like: grapefruit, lime, litsea, patchouli, lemon, lemongrass, bergamot, chamomille, clove and ravensara.

In addition I put perfume oil cranberries in it. The smell is like a garden of citrus/orange like a little fruit basket. Tomorrow it will be seen , when it is cut.

Rosemary

The lovely customer this time wanted a rosemary soap. It had to be made hot processed, because she wants to sell them and not wait 6 weeks to cure. The blend suceeded gratefully with rosemary, litsea, peppermint, lavender and elemi ( essential oils).

The colour was not so good, mixing green natural clay with chlorofyll, but it was cheerfull enough.
The customer made this lovely picture and cutted the soap ( which came as a loaf) herself! We think she did a great job!

Drivers..

Today I came along the word : "drivers". These are a main component of a computer. Without the drivers, the computer hasn't got any clue how to think and how to be active at all. While I was making this soap today, ( Framboisy)
I felt so gratefull to have so many drivers ( customers)and especially fellow soapmakers, who appreciate the handmade art we try to create. How lucky a person can be, when other soapmakers react or simply send you a nice mail. And also customers who apparently are satisfied enough to give their words of thankfullness.
How lucky am I to have these drivers:
to create and to share is an awsome thing!

Soap for a customer.

Today I unmoulded the soap for my customer. It allways is great fun. Normally my dear customer wants to cut the soap herself, but today we had contact and I had the honor. Well that was really nice of her..I expected worse from the inside because of the quick working with the heaps of cocoabutter.
