Soap for a customer.

Today I unmoulded the soap for my customer.It allways is great fun. Normally my dear customer wants to cut the soap herself, but today we had contact and I had the honor. Well that was really nice of her..I expected worse from the inside because of the quick working with the heaps of cocoabutter.

Buttermilk soaps

Gioia loves Buttermilk... she licks it from a plate, so I decided to make some.. buttermilk soaps with natural biological honey from a beehive here in the neighbourhood.

Speechless......

Speechless was I to open the package this morning. I found there 5 lovely gourmet soaps , made by Sharon from http://www.platypusdreams.com.au/

I think these soaps are one of the most beautiful there are on this planet! There are 4 goatmilk soaps and one without.They are beautifully packed and smell like you're in heaven. Well, I hope heaven will have them, otherwise I am in trouble.

These are my experiences with the soaps: Vovacia, the purple one ( on the right) has many bubbles and creamy leather. It feels like you're walking in the clouds

The Berrylicious smells like many fruits, but the apple plays the main part :) Many bubbles and feels great on the skin.

The Lemon soap smells like little lemon with a fine fresh top of lime i guess.

The Yummer smells like butterscotch, but not overwhelming and has great creamy swirls in it.The Floral Essence soap ( with the roses) has patchouli in it, and some hints of flowers.But it is a robuste soap ( could also be for men)!

Well I am enjoying every minute in the shower. So take a look at Platypus dreams!

Blueberry Hill

Sometimes colours and perfume oil blends come surprisingly. Knowing that yellow and blue becomes green, we don't have all the answers. This has to become a blueberries soap. Lovely fragrances of blueberries, blackberries, mango, vanilla bean and strawberries. On top i put some moonseed just for fun on the hills...

herbs

In the kitchen, there is allways room for herbs. For instance basil, rosemary and lovely thyme. They give not only taste to your food, but can help you when you are having flue. Nature gives us so many exclusive plants and why not make a rosemary/thyme soap, full of fresh ( saponified) herbs , and lovely essential oils in it.

Lavender Rose

Blending essential oils with perfume oils normally turns out to be somewhat tricky.

Lately , however, it seems to go quite well.

Perfume oil of garden roses mixed with essential oils of lavender, lavandin, and a hint of teatree with lime, made a very welcome soap.

Especially nice to have on Valentine's Day to give away to that special person.

Customers wishes

2 weeks ago a nice client of mine wanted to have some natural soaps with diverse blends of essential oils. One of the soaps also nicely with fresh biological goat milk ( which I buy here at the Farm nearby).So she made these lovely pictures from the products I delivered. Love cake

Made a love cake for Valentine. I used rose clay ( natural) and a lovely blend of roses (perfume oil) , lavender essential oil, a little hint of teatree essential oil and geranium essential oil.

Apricot kernoil is a nice superfatter!

Starry Night..

Yesterday the sky was full with stars. Today it is snowing! So Gioia and I will have a nice walk enjoying the snow.

I got inspired by all this beauty so here is a new soap. She smells like lilac with lavender and a creamy hint of limes.

Enjoy this time of year!

Venezia out of the mall

After 24 hours she finally can get out of the mall: Venezia.

Nicely coloured with natural red clay.

She smells like a citrus vanilla tart on "Piazza San Marco".

Peppermint, May Chang, chamomille, Melisse , essential oils combined with

vanilla cream perfume oil.

Recently I have been asked by a very nice shop named Applepiepussy , to develop an applepie soap. So I ordered my favourite scents at my favourite places and made this cake for them.Mariko, from Applepie Pussy, she made this nice photo which was used on their shop.

Lavender

The smell of lavenderbuds is very calming and relaxing. The magic of these little flowers, is allways present.

Unfortunately, they will turn into brown colour when putting it in the mould. Only some on the topping will have their lovely colour.Cornflowers I did not try in the soap yet. These have a lovely bright blue colour, as a topping. I use them in my goat milk soaps, with some nice lilac odour.
