Woofie Dog Soap

My lovely dog Gioia allways is a real "rascal". She runs, and goes and is allways so cheerfull. So I decided to make her real "Gioia Made Soap , Soap. :) It his, her shop so we are a bit late by making this. Tea tree essential oils combined with lavender and citronella, makes a perfect dog soap. She loves it and dog owners love it too! You will find here in this shop the Real Gioia Made Soap.

Autum Leaves

This is the time of the falling leaves... and nature changing into such refined colours.

Time to put on some candles in the homes and thinking about warm apple pie with custard. Thinking about new things, going with the flow...

Lip balms

Lately people ask me more about the lipbalms. They are in all flavours. I make them with real cholate truffles for example. So it is a natural sugar and cocoa, and smells heavenly. Some of them have banana, or bleuberries. Normally i use labello eversince I was 7 years old. ( a long long time ).

but strangely I now prefer the balms myself. ( which I didn't expect at all, because labello is the greatest!)

We packed them up , as candy , so they look like little presents on their own.

Summer soap cakes

Proud was I to make some summer soap cakes, for a special couple. Hope they will enjoy it.

Love this smell of strawberry smoothies with lots of other ripe fruit perfume oils. Love this smell of summer time ! Have a lovely summer time yall.

Whipped Coconut Body cream lavender/bergamot

This brandnew whipped coconut cream is lovely made with almond oil, coconut oil, cocoabutter, emulsifying wax , and stearic acid. Also I put some lovely flavours in it, a combination of lavender and bergamot. Not only a silky feeling on the skin, but great smell for this summer!

Secondly I made some garden bouquets for fun and customers to giveaway.

This time of the year, it is great and so relaxing, using lovely biological herbs in your soap. Refreshing with peppermint, or just calming by using calendula petals. Let summer into your heart and leave it there for the whole year..

At the farm 1661

Last Sunday was a very hot day for the Netherlands. About 29 degrees , it was great. Just to stand and sit and watch all of these lovely people enjoying nature, nature products and eachother. This is the most important thing in live. Enjoy every single day with people you love.
Unfortanately we lost you both in one week in september 2008, and still thinking of you. This day is for you, Willy and Annemarie, we know that wherever you are, you will find eachother again.

At the farm

The weather was great, people so kind, and wow what a beautiful products we saw. This is the work we love and like to do, especially in summer time :)

Let's Fair !

Isn't it rich? To work with a friend , going to farms and having friends helping you? And then, meeting so many nice people, enjoying the richdom of bees, plants, fruit orchards ?

Romantic summer

During the last weeks I have been preparing some diverse things: smelling bags with lavender and rose petals. It brings summer so near to you :) Next week we will be having a fair on the farm so, then we will need them to smell and sell. But also ofcourse the traditional soaps who allways are favourite items for our clients.

New solid bodyscrubs

The last few weeks have been strange: had to go for research to hospital 2 times.Now I have to wait for the test results, and i chose to distract myself and not think negative. Next week there will be a spring fair with lovely handmade products. Biological honey, eggnug, chutneys, wines and so on. Tasting the special goat cheeses, and scenting goat milk soaps :)

For this fair I have a trial solid bodyscrub. Hope it will sell. And if not, I had a great time making it.

Strawberry Vanilla Drizzle

The Stéphanie soaps are selling nicely! But it could be better.. so I started to make some summer soap like strawberry. Really love the smell of it. The vanilla cream drizzle on top is also smelling nicely.

this makes it a real summer feeling soap.

Donorsoap: Stéphanie ( Olympic Games)

There was a customer who ordered in my shop.She gave her website adress so I had a look at it. It appeared she had been given a new lung thrue transplantation. Again I felt so lucky , I only have astma and COPD lung problems, but I am much older. So I decided to send her this order freely and we both invented a sponsor soap to realize her plans to go to Australia as a topsport woman! The soap is nicely perfumed with fresh linnen and fragrant cream!Coloured by natural rose clay.

The Donorsoap is in the shop at this moment. So, Stéphanie, I hope we will sell them in a large scale. Stéphanie: YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!

Strawberry Mango cupcakes

Cupcakes are very popular, so yesterday spring made me long for strawberries and mango. The smell is heavenly they fizz in the bathtub, not so overwhelmingly, but nicely and gentle.

Sharon from Platypus Dreams.......

Today I fellt really honoured :) Sharon from Platypus Dreams phoned me this afternoon. In the Netherlands it was 15:45 hours , and Brisbane time 23:45 hours. Sharon and I were on the phone for 30 minutes, sharing soap recipes, and Sharon gave me many critics and lovely hints, she actually said : "I want you to become a great soapmaker ". Well, dear followers , and readers, this I would say, was one of the greatest positive criticism and encouragement I ever had as a soapmaker. Not only gratefullness for sharing with Sharon, but also her very sympathetic gesture, made me today, the most happy soapmaker in Europe anyway :)

Bath cupcakes

Today our order arrived , so I was able to make some trial cupcakes. In a way I succeeded; they have a nice colour, lovely flavours and nice constistency.

Unfortanetely, the topping did not succeed nicely. Next time I will make the icing thicker, so that the toppings are looking more "ICED". They have the fragrances : Pear combined with blackberries.

Raspearry Fizzies!

Dear followers, and other dear people, Yesterday there was some kind of spring in the air. Not so overwhelming, but anyway nice and we must be gratefull every day brings us.So I longed for flavours as raspberry and pears, melons. This is what turned out : Raspearry Fizzies. You put them in your tube, or if you don't have one, can use it as footbath as well. They fizz all over and you smell the lovely fruits!They are coloured with natural green and rose clay. The topping is the raspberry.
