It is never too early to start with christmas customized soaps and product. From August till now we're in cinnaman, sugar and cranberries odours which is no problem, but the neighbours who live near the workshop are fed up with it :(
So now it is peppermint and female scents.

Country Fairs
This weekend the first Farm Fair will start. We are lucky to have such good friends who invited us to their farm. There will be lots of nice products such as : goat cheese, marmalads ( very special ones, like sweet chili pepper ), biological honey straight from the bees, fresh brewed beer and wines, food from the medieval period. For those who are interested to experience the lovely air and lovely area, do have a look at our shop for the adress.
We are looking forward to it.

Little Tuscany
The weather is not so good at this time of year. Unfortanetely.... but we have to take everyday as it comes. It is too precious to be ungratefull. With the air crash yesterday, there are so many losses. How must one child as a survivor of an airplane crash, survive again? Our thoughts are with the family friends and beloved ones.
Therefore we made a little Tuscany to see the colours of life in dark times. Wishing you a lovely day....

Lavender blue...
We love the smell of lavender. It makes you feel it is becoming summer. There are so many different varieties of lavender. Some of them grow in the mountains, others more down the hills, so the smell of lavender has also many varieties. Not disrespecting nature, but I felt to mix some species toghetter. Some Bulgarian lavender, and some Mont Blanc. It made a lovely combination of the soap.

Strawberry vanilla soapcakes
We love strawberries , and found at LIDL that they are here from Spain. The Dutch strawberries are not that sweet, so to speak. Some neighbours have a small fruitgarden, where every year they grow them. These lovely people allways come and give them to us. Homemade marmelade, zucchini and so on. So then we prepare them for dinner and bring the lady upstairs (82 years old) 2 times a week a lovely meal. That is how we are priviliged to chain. It is allways a chain reaction to give and receive and to pay it forward. It is better than money.. and brings you more happiness!
Enjoy your spring.

Waiting for spring..
My mother, Gioia and I went on a small holiday. It was nice to restrain in the woods. We had a lovely time and Gioia was enjoying it too. When we got home, our order from the Soap Kitchen came in. So we have lovely new oils and stuff. We love the smell of mango, so I made a small batch of mangosoap with loads of sheabutter, mangobutter and grapeseedoil. One particular oil was also great: the butterscotch perfume oil. ( non dicouloring). Will try that one real soon.
